My surfboard making journey started a few years back now when I made a hollow wooden board with the guys from Tree to Sea in Mornington. Working with timber has always interested me and this was the perfect project. Hand making your own surfboard from beautiful timber, shaping it, painting it and then surfing it. Riding your own board is such a buzz. Since then I have moved on and started shaping board from upcycling old redundant surfboards. Giving the foam a new life and not to land fill.
